종합가전회사로 거듭나고 있는 중국 기업 샤오미가 에어컨까지 출시한다.
9일(현지시간) 미국 정보기술(IT) 전문매체 폰아레나에 따르면 이날 샤오미는 중국 가전업체 메이디와의 첫 합작품으로 벽걸이형 스마트에어컨을 공개했다. 샤오미는 스마트홈 시장 공략을 위해 지난해 12월 메이디가 새로 발행한 5500만주를 주당 23.01위안에 취득한 바 있다.
샤오미 에어컨은 사용자들이 한 번 자신이 선호하는 온도, 습도 등을 설정하면 그에 맞춰 실내 온도, 바람 세기가 자동으로 바뀐다. 또 샤오미의 스마트밴드 미밴드 착용시 사용자가 집에 도착하면 에어컨이 자동으로 켜지고 이용자가 잠이 들면 에어컨은 취침모드로 변한다. 물론 스마트폰에 전용 애플리케이션을 설치하면 이를 통한 에어컨 조작도 가능하다.
제품 공개에 앞서 샤오미는 최신 스마트 기기를 무료로 체험할 고객을 모집해왔다.
