삼성전자는 가정용 에어컨과 제습기의 핵심 부품인 '인버터 컴프레서'의 무상보증 기간을 10년으로 확대한다고 18일 밝혔다. 이로써 냉장고,김치냉장고,세탁기,청소기와 함께 삼성전자 생활가전 제품에 적용되는 '인버터 컴프레서'와 '인버터 모터'의 무상보증 기간이 모두 10년으로 일원화됐다.
'인버터 컴프레서'와 '인버터 모터'는 정밀한 제어를 통해 사용 환경에 따라 운전량을 자동으로 조절해 성능은 높이고 소비전력은 낮춰 보다 효율적으로 제품을 사용할 수 있게 해주는 생활가전 핵심 부품이다. 특히 삼성전자의 냉장고 '인버터 컴프레서'는 뛰어난 에너지효율, 정밀한 온도 제어, 저소음, 우수한 내구성을 인정받아 인버터 기술의 원천 국가인 일본 업체에도 수출하는 등 2013년 이후 글로벌 시장 1위를 꾸준히 지켜오고 있다.
